A day before CNY and Valentine's Day~

I don't why but I suddenly feel like updating my blog now. I would like to say in advance, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to all my Chinese friends and HAPPY VALENTINE's DAY to all the couples that I know. It's rare to see that Chinese New Year falls on the same day with Valentine's Day, so it's unique for this year, 2010! Fyi, for Chinese, it's a tiger year!

Everyone is very busy at home now but I am sitting in my room updating my blog. haha I was late to eco class just now because I was doing some "Maths" in the hall with my other chingu(s). The results for last year seem to be improved but the total number of people getting C and above are just...haiz~

For Biz, out of 120 students, only 31 students got C and above. Accounting, out of 90+ students, only 17, and for Eco, around 60 students, only 5 of them who achieved C and above. For GP, it's 90+ students. It's really really tough, I kinda feel very scared after knowing the figures, I am not sure whether we made a mistake on the counting or not because we counted one by one~ But all of us have to work hard in order to proceed to the next level, which is uni! Wow, time passed so FAST~

I felt sorry for my chingu(s) as some of them were asking whether there is open house and I shook my head by saying no. Because I am afraid that my parents gonna be like...so I only invited certain people, who are my good friends to my house. SORRY! MIANHAE~

Alright, I will stop here for this post. I hope I am gonna update soon during CNY with pretty pics~ so Annyeong for now~ hehe

Results are out and the Birthday Partay yesterday~

I updated my blog once in a blue moon again! haha Results were being released yesterday and I got mine too! But I was unsatisfied with my biz, I got only a C. I will work harder for it! On the other hand, I am kinda happy with my Eco because I thought I might fail. But I got a C too! So overall it was okay, hopefully I can do better for this June AS! hehe Anyway, Congratulations for those who achieved good results and for those who didn't do well, don't be too sad! Work harder!! Jia you!! Hwaiting!!!

Yesterday I went to my friend's Birthday party, they were playing crazily! haha They enjoyed so much because there was a Water Bouncer? I didn't play because I am not really interested. But as usual, we took lots of pics! Some of them are really really nice! I am lazy to upload it here so check out on my fb if you are interested~

My friend asked me, "Sie Ying, are you sure you don't want to play?" I answered no but she just hugged me because she was all wet...and then, part of my clothes was wet as well! haha And then when they slide down from the top, few of us didn't realize...so we were being splashed by the water...we shouted at the same time, "Aahhhhhhhhhhh!!" WET again! haha That friend of mine
was carrying a pail with some water inside and trying to throw it to one my friends. But then that guy was running behind of me, which made me run as well. I keep on shouting, "Hey, don't stand at the back of me! I don't want to be the victim!"

Lol anyway, we really enjoyed a lot although some of us were being sucked by vampires (mosquitoes I mean). I will try to update my blog soon again! Because I am very busy nowadays, helping around in school to prepare for Pre-U1, gonna do research for my BGIC thingy and Chinese New Year is coming soon! So hopefully it's not once in a blue moon again~ hehe

Okay...blogging is not part of my daily routine but I realized it's been really really long time that I didn't update my blog. It's not that my life is really that bored, it's just that I don't know why...when I feel like updating my blog...there must be something going on...and after that I will be lazy to update...haha

I don't know from where should I start to recall...maybe after all my exams, on the 12/11, oh my...now then I remembered how busy I was...I mean all the mpps and prefects...all the activities that we had to handle...HSBC talk, Cleaning campaign, Talent Show, Parents' Day, Teachers' Day, Students' Award & SMSA Fiesta and SMSA Idol. Just by looking at these, I feel dizzy... haha

I remember there was a week that I had to go to school for six days, including friday, to practise choir. And the next week, almost every afternoon I stayed at school to help around and practice. The song that they have chosen to sing was our SMSA school song. haha Lame? But actually not really because majority said it was nice...we performed for two days. I was one of the superanos (not sure with the spelling) haha

Oh yeah, and before that, mun did ask me whether I wanna join smsa idol with her? So I decided to practise first and see how... So she came to my house with feeqa to practise singing after the crazy talent show...haha They didn't have much time to change...so they just wore our SMSA PE t-shirts (they really love SMSA haha) There's a pic here...but in the end, I decided not to join and luckily that's my decision because then I realized that smsa idol is for solo singer...

Talking about the SMSA idol, I was very angry that time because the results was UNFAIR!!! They were being BIAS!!! Fine! I don't want to mention about that again...I took mun's pretty pic and... hehe

Oh yeah, before SMSA Idol, I went to Swiss Hotel and Tat Place Hotel & Cafe for an educational trip after the parents' day...it was really fun and worth! I paid only $15 and got the chance to look around the hotel (kitchen, rooms, reception, repair and maintenance room) and learned a lot which are related to my business studies...All of us had a nice meal (refreshments, lamb chop, mango fish, deserts)! And as a KBian, I never know that Kuala Belait has such a nice view looking from the top...Bruneians will be surprise to look at these pics~

On the 3rd of December, I went to bandar with my bro as the driver, liza and my cousin. hehe I really enjoyed that day! I felt sorry for Kavitha because she can't join us...and I tried to contatct mun the night before but I didn't manage to contact her :( Anyway, I guess she was also busy preparing for the singing competition. hehe Mun, HWAITING!!! How was it actually? I didn't get a chance to ask her...

And on the way to bandar, we were stucked for I don't know how long...more than 30 minutes perhaps...just for the stupid spot check by the police...then the first thing that we did when we arrived in The Mall was to book the tickets. Because the aim to go bandar was to watch New Moon! Most of the seats were fully booked...and left with like one seat in this row and another one in that row. So it was my first time to watch it alone although my bro went into the same cinema as I did because we were forced to sit separately. There was a malay guy sitting besides me and he coughed a lot...luckily I was healthy enough that time haha Liza and my cousin went to watch ninja assasin and there sat separately too! Haiz...

They came out first and were playing in the Arcade. I joined them after that while my bro went to do his stuff...we were playing so high! And we even played the kids' basketball game? The three balls stucked inside at the same time! haha After that, we went to sing in the K-box. Although not much songs inside there that I know but Liza and I managed to sing more than 10 songs...haha we were so high! Shouting as if we were in a concert!

At last for the dinner, I went to the pasar malam in Gadong for the very first time. I know as a Bruneian, it was kinda funny! And I even tried 'tongkeng' for the first time again! haha I gave a name to the smoke (look at the pic below), 'Brunei Perfume', but the smell was *coughing*...haha
Okay, I guess that's the end of my blogging...I wrote quite a lot this time and I don't know when will be the next time for me to update again. hehe Because there are lots of holidays homework waiting for me to do~ I haven't really start to do and 2010 is coming soon...T.T

It's been a long time again I didn't update my blog although it's my school holidays now. Because I just came back from UK few days ago. And I felt so tired. I only feel like updating it now as few more days later, which is on monday, school is gonna reopen again. haiz...

On the 9th of September I was sitting on the aeroplane...and it's my first time to feel the pain of flying for so long time...hehe first time sitting for about 13 hours on the plane excluding 2 hours flight from Singapore. It's really tiring and I can't sleep on the plane...Because the kids sitting behind me were kicking my seat...damn! But I was watching movies and learning new languages? hehe And the plane was cool cuz I can charge my ipod~

When I arrived in London Heathrow, it's 6 something early in the morning. And there you go...waiting again for other students because I was following the school bus to Cardiff. It's 17 degree outside the airport...and I felt cold with the thin jacket. hehe

Most of them thought I am one of the students cuz I look mature...haha but I am not~ Alright, skipped something, if I keep on typing, it will be like essays...Okay, this is one of the pics taken with my cousin in the airport while waiting...Oh man, I miss her~ Suddenly feel so lonely in Brunei...T.T Oh yeah, I have met some new friends in Wales too! I am gonna miss them as well...

When I was there, every morning I ate croissant, cereals and sandwiches. Lunch time...mostly fast food. and I really really miss Brunei food! My Chinese food! hehe But after about 6 days later, my cousin got to know a Chinese Restaurant from her senior, and at last! I can eat chinese food again! But I only managed to take a picture of the soup, my aunt even said...at last, we can eat something which is what human beings eat...haha Actually in between, we did eat thai food but it's kinda expensive and boring as we ate for several times already....but there is something that I think I should type it out here, because in the menu of that thai restaurant, they wrote something like this...people travel from miles just to try this...and it's actually the duck! Nice though...but the way they wrote was a bit exaggerating...hehe

It's just like what my cousin said, we just came out from a story book. hehe The HSBC there is very different and unique too! There is also a pic where the guy stood on the string (tied on both trees) with one leg and played violin. And I realized one thing, most of the shops that I went in sell accessories, its really pretty but not my cup of tea...hehe

Actually I did go to London for about half day only? hehe Because we spent almost the whole morning travelling there and eating. We went into KFC for breakfast and I heard two guys speaking Bahasa Brunei so I suspected them to be Bruneian. And after asking them, yes they are Bruneians~ Because we were so lost in London, have no idea where to go and what to do. So you will not be able to feel how happy I was to meet Bruneians! haha and another reason was I have never met a Bruneian in Cardiff. They were being so nice to tell us which bus to sit and which streets that we can go. Fyi, they are actually scholarship students and I forgot everything until my aunt said..."Isn't it puasa time? How come they are eating?" Ta da~ haha But I do understand because the weather is so cold. Cannot tahan bah~ and I was so regret because I wore a very thin jacket and didn't know that the temperature would be that cold, it was 8 degree that time and I became sick the next day...hehe Anyway, I enjoyed a lot~ We sat on the bus (sight seeing bus) and took some pictures...but I was shivering a lot...

T.T I am gonna miss my cousin and my friends over there~ See you guys soon if I am back to Cardiff again! hehe

I guess I broke the record for not updating the blog for so long time. I am so busy all these time and I feel like I have no time to update my blog.

I finished my progress tests last week and I got my results for Accounting and Economics. I am kinda disappointed to myself because even the weaker one beat me in these two subjects...I am hoping that my Business will be okay. I really need to work hard for the end of year exams and AS is coming soon~ I need to improve my grades!

I felt kinda stress even after the exams because of my bro. Anyway, I won't mention anything here. I hope that after all these, everything will be okay in the future. I am really looking forward to the September holidays as I am going to somewhere~ Some of my chingu knew about this already. hehe So I hope that I will enjoy this coming trip~

Reunion with the Old and New Mannequins

We had a reunion with the old (Sc. 2 students) and new (bf/gf) Mannequins yesterday. It was supposed to be in Anduki but there was no place for us so we decided to change the location to Amal's house. Luckily her parents were not angry. Amal, komawo~ Unfortunately some of them were not there...haiz~ hopefully everyone will come for the next reunion.

Flashback:
I wasn't feeling that well in the morning and was deciding to go or not. After thinking for a while, I decided to go for the sake of Rose. Actually my dad was telling me not to go because it was raining heavily in kb. He did say if there is heavy rain in Anduki, he will bring me home immediately. So I mes rose on the way. She said 5 of them arrived there already but there was no place. Then when I arrived there, feeqa told me to stop my dad from leaving because they decided to change the location. My dad brought Liza, Mizi, Feeqa (I realized they were all half Chinese) and I in the car and followed Amal's driver's car to Amal's house.

Rose~ I miss you a lot! hehe and komawo for your present although it's a belated one. We were sitting together with su ling as the loner group and others were sitting together as the couple group. And thanks a lot to Faiz and Liza, because without them, there might not be fire...hehe and we can't bbq those food. I did ask Amal for panadols and luckily her mum gave me two. After eating the panadols I felt better and took a lot of pictures with Rose, Feeqa and Mizi. Reunion Party with Yau Bing

Yau bing was back from Malaysia about two weeks ago and we went to Excapade for a reunion party on last Friday (12/6). Farewell party was actually held on the same place last time. When I arrived there at 7pm, I saw two guys standing outside but I can't recognize them from far because I wasn't using my spec that time. I thought they were uncles that I don't know and was kinda scared to stand outside and wait for the others. When I walked near to them, then I realized they were actually Yb and Ah Tan. hehe

We were having so much fun and laughed a lot, but an unexpected guest came to join us for a while. The unexpected guest was Lorin. I am not sure whether I am supposed to mention this on my blog or not but I feel sorry for her. hehe Because we were actually hiding something from her. And suprisingly everyone was playing their own role very well. She really thought that yb is going back the next day. And yb was so not gentleman, he rejected all her requests.

Anyway, we took a lot of pictures and most of our expressions (especially yb) in the pics were so funny. I will upload some of the pics here to share the happy moments.

Don't play play in FORM SIX

Just finished chatting with one of my friends not long ago and suddenly feel like blogging. "Don't play play in FORM SIX", that's the title that I have thought of for this post. We just finished our Mid-Year Exams few days ago and most of us got back our papers already.

I realized that it's normal to hear something like this these two days;
"My class only 5 people passed."
"My class only 3 people passed."
"Some students even got single digit for their exams."
"Did you pass? I failed all four subjects, I don't know how to tell my parents."
"I got 53 marks and you know what? I am the highest in the class. haha"

BANG! Failing rate is so high~ and we just started to study on March, which means not many of the topics had been covered, I really hope that we can survive~ but of course not all the students got such poor results, there were some of them passed everything and achieved very high marks. I am kinda happy because I passed three subjects but not sure about my GP. Because sir said we will get back our papers only after the holidays. He said many people wrote out of topic. Haiz~

Anyway, our holidays will start officially on this Sunday but I don't think many people are going to school on Saturday (maybe including me) hehe. I have many holidays' homework to do~ T.T But THINK POSITIVELY (like what my business teacher told me). So Yay~ I have homework to do! Give me more~ (although that's not what I am really thinking) hehe And many of my friends are going to MKJB. =( Anyway, Good Luck and All the Best to you guys and you girls! hehe

My 17th Birthday (520)

Yesterday was my 17th birthday. I am so happy because many people greeted me. I wanna say thank you too all of you especially to Feeqa and Amal, because they even greeted me on their blogs.

I celebrated my birthday earlier because my brother will not be in KB on my actual birthday. Early in the morning at 6.00am I saw a container on my table and was wondering what was that. When I opened it, I was so surprised to see the sushi (in the pic) arranged nicely in it. According to my mum, those sushi were made by my bro during midnight. I felt so touched actually. Thank you gor~

Then in the afternoon, after attending the MPPs & Prefects' meeting, I went home around 4+ tiredly. My bro told me to open the refrigerator and I saw the plate of "cake" (in the pic). Although its something like kuih lapis, I felt so happy because he made it for me for the very first time. I did see him bringing along many recipes' books from the library. I think he learned it from one of the books. It's a kind of kuih from Sarawak if I am not mistaken. Once again, thank you gor although I think he won't read my blog. hehe

And I want to say 고마워 to my dear cousin, Faith and her mum for buying me two presents. The present with a pretty ribbon on the box and "The Secret Code" Album were given by them. Actually I got Jae Joong's post card but my cousin changed it with me because she got Changmin's one. Fyi, my favourite member is Changmin so I just changed it with her. And the "stand" with many earrings on it was actually the present in the box. Arigatou to Deborah, because she gave me a unique present. I like the key chain with 忍耐 on it. It's very meaningful. During the night time, I went to Bucanneer with my brother and cousins. That was also my first time to celebrate outside and without any adults. The sad thing was there was no escargot (there is a pic of that on my previous posts). So we ordered quite a lot of other food to replace that. hehe

After eating, I took some pictures with my brother and cousins. But I only uploaded two here. The second pic was taken with my dear cousin, Faith.

On my actual birthday which was yesterday, I only ate a birthday cake with my family members. I purposely combined the before and after in the pic below because I found it very funny. The reason was the kids (my sisters and cousin) took all the chocolates on the cake within 5 seconds after I blew the candles. And I also quickly ate all the cherries after that. So it became like that. haha

I did eat chicken chop in the afternoon and went to excapade to take away some of my favourite food; salmon, gyoza and sushi in the night time. My grandpa said the ginger was nice and he even ate the wasabi. Amazing to me because I don't eat wasabi. And one thing made me very happy was The Secret Code's poster. Because my birthday is on the 20th of May, so basically I always say 520 (Wo Ai Ni in Chinese) and I found the three numbers on the poster. 창민오빠, 감사 합니다! 사랑해~ 동방신기, Tohoshinki 화이팅! For the entire life. that was the happiest birthday to me~

Long time no "BLOG"

It's been a long time already I didn't update my blog. Because I am always busy with my school works, projects and so on...Fyi, I have homework everyday and it's like a daily routine for my Accounting.

I met Rose on the 11th of April. I was actually planning to update my blog that day but I don't know why I didn't do that hehe Rose, 보고싶었어~ I miss the old days when we were in PJN. You always have that pose (hand on your waist)...hehe

I only knew that she was in KB town when she mc me...she should have tell me earlier, what if I am not in KB town? T.T But maybe it's fate, hehe I was actually hanging out with my cousins that time. And she was eating with Su Ling in KFC...

But I just ate KFC the previous day so I don't feel like eating there again. So I left her and went to Procter with my cousins. She and Su Ling went to search for us after finish eating in KFC. We managed to take a few pics at last but not enough time and I was having stomach pain...Yishh...

Anyway, this is one of the pics...she still looks the same...as cute as always hehe but she looks prettier in reality. I hope that we can hang out some day with my old 친구...Btw, Younha's songs always let me think of Rose because she is her fan...And nowadays, I like Younha's Luv U Luv U Luv U...dedicated to 장미 hehe When are you going to online anyway? T.T

Form Six Life is tough...just finished a presentation on mon and the next day teacher assigned us with another group work, report...I think I will stop here for today because I need to continue my homework again~ 안녕~

5 Sc 1 and 5 Sc 2 eating with Teacher Misliha in Buccaneer's Thai Section on the 9th of Feb. Something embarrassed happened before we start eating. One of our classmates message us said she was already in Buccaneer but when Su Ling, Rose and I went in there, she was nowhere to be seen. Three of us guess she went into another section of Buccaneer.

Rose and I read the board outside of the restaurant while Su Ling opened the door and looked inside, the words written on the board were "Private Function" but we couldn't digest the meaning. Then Su Ling said while standing near the door, "The girl over there looks like Amal." But we only managed to see her back.

I told her to call out Amal's name but then there were two uncles eating near the door said, "Who are you looking for?" We answered, "We are looking for our friends." The girl who looked like Amal from the back turned and looked at us. Omg, a lady that we don't know.

Then the uncle said something that I couldn't hear properly. I managed to hear one word, 'function'. I quickly said, "Oh, I am so sorry about that." and three of us went out. We saw the board again. Rose said, "I have read it before but it seems like I don't understand."
I said, "Oh man, me too. It's written clearly here, "Private Function". But how come we don't understand just now?" Su Ling then said, "So embarrassing!"

But Amal told us that she did go into that restaurant and no one realized that she wasn't one of the guests. They just said "Welcome" to her and there was one uncle asked her whether she was in the line to take the food or not. Amal just smile and ran to the toilet. She wanted to escape from the exit door there but it's locked. How come no one realized? Unfair~Anyway, after that we had happy memories...

Yesterday morning I received a mes and the numbers appeared on my mobile phone were 8885555. I was really nervous because I registered on the first day of CNY already. But when I viewed the mes, it was from mygamma...I was like...WHAT?! I thought it's my results.

And in the afternoon around 2.06pm, I received a mes with the title of O LEVEL RESULT 2008. I was so happy because Miracle does exist in this world! I got 8 Credits above! YES!!! After that, I even went to Procter to celebrate with my cousin because her A level Result was not bad too.

I want to say 'Congratulations' to all my friends who achieved good results but at the same time, I feel sorry to some of my friends too. Anyway, good luck to everyone! I hope 2009 will be a better year for everyone...

Adrenaline secreting

Alright, my adrenaline is secreting now~ not because I feel like mentioning about Biology...hehe But it's because I heard that Cambridge declared that O level Results will be coming out on the 21st! And it's already 17th today! But MOE will be a bit 'lagging', I mean slow...so the results might be coming out maybe few days later or even during Chinese New Year...

NO! Andwae! Bu Ke Yi! Tidak Boleh! I don't want the results to affect my CNY's mood. I hope my results will be okay~ Miracle exists in this world or not? I hope the answer is YES! Good Luck to everyone, especially all my classmates and friends! 5 Sc 2(2008) Hwaiting!

It's been so long time that I didn't update my blog because I am quite busy nowadays. hehe I went to bandar today and bought some new clothes for Chinese New Year. It's on the 26th of January if I am not mistaken.

I watched a movie in the Cinema, 'Twilight'. I know I am kinda slow because its on the cinema for about two weeks already but at least I watched it. hehe It's a nice movie but most of the people who read the book prefer the book because it's more detailed. Some parts are missing in the movie if compared to the original story book. But overall, the movie is quite nice. It's so popular nowadays! It's like the next Harry Potter. Surprisingly, my cousin said Twilight sold more than Harry Potter. I mean for the movie. Anyway, I took some pictures secretly in the cinema. I had a gathering with my friends again today! But only some of us came, most of them are sick (demam) . After eating at Sugarbun, we walked to Su Ling's working place. She is the first one to work from our class and she is also the only girl in her working place, it's a workshop. After that, we walked back to Soon Lee and we went to the beach. It's more windy compared to the beach in Seria but not as clean as the beach in Seria. But with my friends there, anything will do~ hehe I don't know what happened to me, I kept on mentioning 'Feeqa', one of my jeolchin han chingu name. I kept on calling others her name just now. My friends said maybe I miss her too much because she didn't come today... hehe Liza made cupcakes for us and it's nice! Arigatou liza! We took a lot of pictures again! I went to bandar this morning and night time I attended Tasha's Sweet 16 birthday. I thought Tasha will wear something like really out of ordinary haha I mean something like lady-like or princess or punk or whatever since it's her sweet 16 but she didn't. It's okay though...

And she said 'BBQ' and I thought we will be having BBQ, as in barbeque by ourselves, self service. But then it's not again...We were sitting inside the house eating 'BBQ FOOD' done by uncles...hehe forgot to say THANK YOU to them. Anyway, we were having fun in someway. I took a lot of pictures too! Btw, Tasha's birthday cake was the so CUTE! And I had forgotten one thing, Tasha, you owed me a song! haha There you go those pics:

BUSY! I think that's a suitable word to describe me for the past few days. I was busy helping my cousin for the blog, busy cleaning my room especially my unwanted books and notes for the whole afternoon yesterday and more...

I though this holidays will be bored but somehow...everyday I am kinda busy...hehe Does this consider a good or bad news? Before the holidays, I said I want to watch all those HK series that I missed for nearly the whole year, I think it's more than 10 series, but it's holidays right now. I didn't even start to watch 1 series...haha

Nothing much happened though...I will end here for this post...

FUN but TIRED! TIRED but FUN! hehe I had a gathering with my classmates and 2 other friends just now in OGDC. After that, we went to the Beach.We were having so much fun but really tired. And the weather just now was so HOT! We took many many pictures for remembrance. Because next year, everyone might be going to different schools or maybe going to other countries. I went to Excapade with some of my tuition friends just now. We were having fun! Third post posted today

I am so tired today because not enough sleep. I brought along 14 textbooks (most of them quite thick) with me to school in order to return them. When I just arrived there, one of my classmates said, "I have a terrible news for you."

"What?" I looked at him tiredly with 7 books in my bag and 7 books on my hand.

"The sir who in charged is not in. We can't return our books today." He said

It's like thunderstorm to me. "WHAT?!" I said and dropping 7 books onto the long chair. The person who was sitting on the same long chair was shocked. hehe Actually he was my Physics sir, 'sorry sir' I did not apologize to you just now.

End up, all of us put our textbooks to Sir's lab so that we don't have to bring them tomorrow. But it was so tired to carry all the books all the way to first floor of Science block. I know it's only first floor but...TIRED! I have to go to school tomorrow again! No!!! But I have to because I promised my friend just now.

I went to Ayamku with my friends after that. Another walking again! But at last we relax in Ayamku. I took some pics and I did ask their permissions to put in my blog. hehe Here are those pics...not much though...

My Second Post for last night

Tada~ Looks way better right? Actually I cooked these two dishes today but with the helped from my dad. One of them was not really success because my dad did not really tell me what to do. He just added those food and told me to cook. But result was both taste not bad~ it's just that one of them looked uglier...Btw, the ingredients for the uglier one were potatoes, baked beans and eggs...hehe
